is dinsy free to use?
yes. without a subscription you can set up your preferences, generate a week of dinners (your dinner names and days are always shown clearly; photos and other details appear blurred until you subscribe), see the week's cost against your budget, and use the full aisle-sorted shopping list. dinsy plus is an optional upgrade that unlocks the full visual week — photos, recipes, cook mode, swaps, and more.
are the meal plans actually written by ai?
yes. dinsy uses ai to build your week of dinners around the supermarket you shop at, your budget, your household size, and any dietary needs you set. prices shown are always estimates, not live supermarket prices — always check the actual price at the checkout.
how do i manage or cancel my dinsy plus subscription?
dinsy plus is billed and managed entirely through your apple id via the app store — we never collect or store your card details. you can cancel anytime from your device: settings → [your name] → subscriptions → dinsy → cancel subscription.
how do i delete my data?
open dinsy and go to settings → "delete my data." this wipes your setup, plan, and shopping list from your device, and asks our servers to delete your account information too.
